The Laing Essay Prize is open to all involved in burn care and is awarded annually for an Essay of no more than 5,000 words on a topic to decided by the Executive Committee each year.
The title for the Laing Essay Prize for 2020/21 is:
“Artificial Intelligence in the Management and Treatment of Burns”
Due to the current worldwide COVID 19 pandemic and the postponement of the ISBI/BBA Joint Conference to 2021, the BBA Executive Committee has decided to postpone the deadline for submissions of the Laing Essay to Wednesday 31 March 2021.
The winner will be announced at the BBA / ISBI Joint Conference, 14-17 June 2021.
