Dan’s Fund for Burns is pleased to announce that following the launch of the Adult Burn Support UK (ABSUK) website in October 2017, we have now added an online Forum to the site. The ABSUK Forum provides a safe place for those affected by burn injury to support each other by sharing experiences and discussing any emotional or physical issues they may be facing in relation to burns. Users can register and login to post comments or questions to the Forum. Click the blue Forum button on the website to have a look around, https://adultburnsupportuk.org/.
The Forum will be monitored throughout the day. However, users may report anything they feel inappropriate or are unhappy with by emailing forumadmin@adultburnsupportuk.org.
Dan’s Fund for Burns is excited to offer this additional support service as part of our ongoing Adult Burn Support UK Project – looking for ways to improve/provide access to support for adult burn survivors. The next phase of the Project will be to provide a moderated live online chat once a week by the end of the year.
