New Study Launched on Medical Tattooing

A new qualitative study is being launched by the VTCT Foundation Research Team at the Centre for Appearance Research, UWE, Bristol to explore why people choose to undergo medical tattooing, their experience of the process, and the potential benefits and challenges involved.  It is hoped that the findings will help patients, clinicians and charities to be better informed about what this type of treatment can offer.

All adults (aged 18+) with an appearance-altering condition who have undergone medical tattooing within the last 5 years are invited to participate in an individual telephone interview with a CAR researcher.  Adults can register their interest in the study via a Qualtrics survey link:  https://bit.ly/2WOrNVv.
