Emergency Management of Severe Burns (EMSB) Military Course @ 202 MMR
Apr 29 @ 7:30 am – Apr 30 @ 6:15 pm

The Military Candidate course is specially designed for Armed Forces personnel (regular and reserve) however, military civil service and MOD employees may also attend. The course is normally held over two days, with the full standard EMSB course provided on the first day.  The second day is focussed on team-working and comprises lectures on military aspects of burn management.  There will be further exposure to moulage to include a scenario as well as information on the different roles within the Military such as ICU, Emergency Department, Theatre etc.  The purpose of the second day is to consolidate learning and there is no assessment element.  Overnight stay and messing is provided.

Please note: Military personnel about to be deployed will be given priority on Military Candidate courses. If required, candidates not due for deployment may be removed and offered another course date.
