CAR, UWE Bristol: Questionnaire for Parents Identifying Their Needs

Do you know any parents who would like to complete a questionnaire that identifies parents’ needs when supporting a child with a burn?

Researchers at the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR), UWE have developed a patient reported outcome measures (PROM) to identify parents’ support needs when supporting a child with a burn injury. It has been developed in collaboration with parents, health professionals and the BBA Psychosocial Special Interest Group. It is now being tested with parents and the results will be
used to shorten and refine the PROM. Once finalised this PROM will be used in the NHS to identify parents’ support needs in order to provide them with the best possible support.

Parents will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two £50 Amazon vouchers for taking part.
