The British Cardiovascular Society and the Innovation Team of NHS England are hosting a Healthcare Hackathon on 5 and 6 June 2018 in Manchester.  A hackathon is an event which brings together diverse people to tackle problems – amazing ideas can be developed when people form groups and pool their experiences and knowledge. They are high in energy, creativity and flexibility. And they are fun!

Taking place at Novartis UK’s annual conference, this is a full two-day event where clinicians, software engineers, designers and entrepreneurs will work together in small teams to identify common clinical issues and devise smart solutions to address these. The winning team will receive a significant seed investment prize and will pitch during the closing session of the conference.
