The Scar Free Foundation is delighted to launch the Amber Young Burns Research Fellowship, a new pump priming burns research fellowship to support early career burns researchers. The Fellowship was made possible by a legacy from Amber Young.
The Fellowship aims to support high-quality, clinically focused research aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people affected by burns. The emphasis of the Fellowship is on ‘pump priming’, proof of principle, and feasibility studies that can demonstrably lead to larger applications from established grant makers such as the NIHR, MRC etc.
This year, one fellowship of £20,000 is available. The deadline for applications is 5pm on 29th April 2024 and your application should be forwarded to Charlotte@scarfree.org.uk.
