2nd Management of the Critically Injured Burn Patient Conference

On behalf of the Scottish National Burn Centre, I am delighted to invite you to the 2nd Management of the Critically Injured Burn Patient on 10–11 September 2026 in Glasgow.
This meeting is aimed at the intensivists, anaesthetists, surgeons, nurses, and the entire Burn MDT and brings together a truly international faculty of pre-eminent speakers from the UK, Europe, North America and Australasia. The programme spans the full breadth of modern burn care, combining the latest evidence with practical, experience-based insights.
Over two days, sessions will cover major trial updates, disaster and conflict burns, critical care and surgical management, paediatrics, ethical dilemmas, and MDT working. A key highlight will be our major incident session, focusing on preparedness and lessons learned from recent international mass casualty events, with perspectives from the UK, Europe, the USA and New Zealand.
